The Faculty of Architecture is a leading centre in the discipline of architecture and urban planning in Poland. The team brings together researchers with experience related to sustainable urban development and climate adaptation, management of spatial and environmental processes, and participatory planning. Together with the research team from UA, the Faculty of Architecture, GT it is an important research centre for the application of GIS tools in interdisciplinary spatial studies. Its two laboratories will be involved in the project. Laboratory of digitalization and visualisation of architecture (DAB Lab) specialises in digitising and digitally imaging urban areas and landscapes. Its main tasks are the development of 3D digital repositories, digital models for simulation environments, and spatial data integration and interoperability workflows. It is equipped with digital survey tools (including a laser scanner and drones). ILLUME Lab investigates the impact of light pollution on people, flora and fauna.
